_Welcome to the RIO group website
The RIO group was formed in 2006 and aims to provide a forum to meet and discuss 'Research in Imagery and Observation'.
Membership to the group is free, and the meetings are centered around members giving presentations about their recent research findings and ideas, followed by group discussion. There is one meeting each year and this takes place at different locations across Europe. The research carried out by group members varies across applied sport science, cognitive-neuroscience, psychology and movement rehabilitation. As such the range of expertise that can be accessed via our group is useful for generating new skills, methods and ideas for research into imagery and observation.
In these pages, details about the 'Research in Imagery and Observation Group' are provided. Click on the tabs above to learn more about the group's aims, membership and meetings (future and past). We hope that you find these pages useful and that you join us at one of our meetings.
If you are interested in imagery and observation research, and you would like to become a member, and/or you would like to join us at our next meeting, please email a description of your research interests (or Curriculum Vitae) to Dr Dan Eaves [email protected].
